The Gift of Learning Program

What is it all about?

You might be familiar with other fundraising platforms such as GoFundMe. The Gift of Learning program is very similar in that we give you a platform to raise funds for your education. This is not a scholarship by any means. The Gift of Learning program finds ways to meet the financial needs of the lifelong learner. One of the biggest differences (and perks) to the Gifting of Learning program is that your donors can benefit from a charitable tax receipt as thanks for their donation! This program is open to all Canadians.

There are a few steps to becoming a "Gifted Learner":

  • Complete your GoldEye, a learning planner and tracker we've designed to help you reach your goal,
  • Fill out the Application Form to the Gifting of Learning program, and
  • Become a member (Learning Champion) of the CLT.

Once you've completed the above, we'll be in touch with you about a few extra details, including:

  • Providing us with a picture to use on your profile; and
  • Submitting additional documentation about your learning, such as proof of enrollment or a summary of the costs of tuition.

Check out our other Gifting of Learning campaigns to see what it's all about! We have current campaigns and success stories to share!
